Sam started in September 2010 as a Facilities and Construction Management Intern and is now assisting EAI's Construction Project Manager, Craig Olson. Sam's responsibilities include: developing construction and repair specifications, collecting competitive bids, administering contract documents, inspecting work projects, supervising vendors, preparing periodic property maintenance reports and conducting and organizing useful life analyses on existing property improvements and equipment.

Sam is currently enrolled in the Building Construction Technology program at Portland Community College, seeking three Associates of Applied Science degrees in building construction technology, construction management and design/build remodeling. He plans on graduating in the spring of 2012. Sam has worked at a number of part time jobs while attending college and enjoys doing hands-on construction and repair work.

Sam loves outdoor activities such as: backpacking, snowboarding, soccer and frisbee golf. He is an avid musician and plays the guitar in a three-piece rock band.
