Marilen joined Elliott Associates, Inc. in November of 2010. She moved to Portland from Austin, TX, where she lived for the past ten years. Her initial responsibilities at Elliott Associates involved identifying and contacting potential new tenants for vacant space the company was leasing. Now, she is a commercial real estate broker, licensed in Oregon, Washington and Texas, working with local and international listings.

Prior to joining Elliott Associaties, Marilen worked for Habitat Hunters Real Estate Services, where her passion for real estate and her strong work ethic, combined with her effective and highly creative networking skills, generated many new clients and contributed numerous residential and commercial transactions in both leasing and sales.

Marilen received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and also holds a degree in tourism business administration from the Canary Islands School of Tourism in Tenerife, Spain.

A native of Chile, Marilen initially moved to the United States in 1992 and is fluent in both Spanish and English. In addition to real estate, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, hiking, sports, live music, cooking, knitting, and green living.
