Julie joined the property management industry in 1983 and specializes in the management of shopping centers, office buildings, industrial space, and residential apartments.

She came to Elliott Associates in July 2003 as a Property Manager and currently oversees retail shopping centers and big box users totaling 2,000,000+ square feet. In addition, she prepares operating budgets, CAM/tax/insurance billings, percentage rent calculations, CPI increases, and supervises the leasing staff and the facilities managers in the day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining EA, Julie managed over 18 apartment communities and commercial space.  She also served as the training director for new and seasoned on-site personnel covering accounting, habitability, personnel policies, paperwork, landlord/tenant law, fair housing, maintenance, marketing, and customer service. Her duties included generating policy manuals, forms, training materials, as well as conducting quarterly company-wide informational and training meetings for on-site personnel.

Julie has a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation issued by the Institute of Real Estate Management, was awarded "Certified Property Manager of the Year" in 2002, served as President of the Oregon Chapter #29 in 2003, and was the Regional Vice President covering Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Montana and Wyoming in 2005-06, and currently serves as a member of the National Executive Committee for the Institute of Real Estate Management.  Furthermore, she was named "Past President of the Year" in 2008.  Due to her tremendous capability and determination, Julie was promoted to Senior Property Manager in early 2008.

She is married and lives with her husband and two Jack Russell Terriers in Troutdale, Oregon.
