
Joe Sandahl, CPM, CCIM
Joe Sandahl joined Elliott Associates in September, 2011, as the Senior Manager of Capital Markets & Asset Management. In this role, Joe brings over 20 years of broad-based commercial real estate experience to the firm. He will play an integral part in the company’s asset management, brokerage and new business development activities. Additionally, he will lead efforts to create a series of private equity real estate funds for property acquisitions throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to joining Elliott Associates, Joe served as president and founding principal of Sandahl Pacific Investment Real Estate, Inc. (SPIRE). He created SPIRE to provide asset management, consulting and advisory services to private investors, businesses and institutional clients.
Joe began his career in real estate at Wyse Investment Services Company (WISCO), where he worked for nineteen years. For over ten of those years, he served as the firm’s executive vice president and was integral in all of the company operations, including the oversight of both the asset management and real esate investment departments. At WISCO, Joe navigated the acquisition of dozens of properties worth well over $150 million dollars.
Joe attended Oregon State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in economics. He is an active member of several industry, non-profit and community organizations including: the Oregon/SW Washington chapter of the CCIM Institute (President Elect and Board Member), ACE Mentor Program of Oregon (Treasurer and Board Member), Portland Business Alliance and Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, as well as a past board member for Albertina Kerr Centers. Over the span of his career, Joe has been affiliated with numerous other industry organizations including: BOMA, IREM, NAIOP and the Oregon Commercial Association of Realtors.
In his spare time, Joe, his wife and children, enjoy spending time with friends and family on the river, at a campsite or on the golf course. They are active members of the University Club of Portland, the Multnomah Athletic Club and Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club.
