Duane administers over 1,000 leases for Elliott Associates, no small task indeed. He started with EA in July 2001 as a portfolio accountant and five years later, made his way to his current position while also obtaining his Oregon real estate broker license at the same time.

His overall responsibilities include administering the leases for all the properties that EA manages, abstracting the leases, reviewing for rent increases, and checking for lease expirations or renewals. He also reviews the tenants' insurance to ensure they have the appropriate coverage and endorsements.

As a Portfolio Accountant, Duane's duties included first-of-the-month tenant billings, daily cash receipts, processing vendor's invoices, and monthly profit and loss statements. Duane also assisted the property managers with annual budgets, CAM reconciliations, and cash flow projections. We rely on Duane's keen analytic abilities across our brokerage, asset management, accounting and management teams.

Duane has a post baccalaureate in accounting from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance degree from Oregon State University. Duane and his wife, Lynn, have one son and live happily in Happy Valley, Oregon.
