Senior Property Manager, Julie Muir, Appointed IREM National Senior Vice President

Senior Property Manager, Julie Muir, of Elliott Associates, Inc. has been appointed as a Senior Vice President of the Institute of Real Estate Management^® (IREM^®), and joins the senior leadership team for IREM National. In this position, Muir will be responsible for representing IREM and its core purposes in addition to completing specific assignments that relate to strategic initiatives.

Muir began her history with IREM in 1999, when she received her Certified Property Manager (CPM^®) designation. From there she went on to be recognized by IREM’s Oregon-Columbia River Chapter No. 29 in 2001 as its “CPM of the Year” and served as president of Chapter No. 29 in 2003. Muir was honored as “Past President of the Year” in 2009 and served as IREM’s Regional Vice President for Region 12 in 2005 and 2006. She served on its Executive Committee from 2008-10 and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the IREM Foundation^®.

As Senior Property Manager for Elliott Associates, Julie Muir brings over 28 years of experience in real estate management and manages approximately 1.4 million square feet of retail and office properties in seven states.

In addition to her many designations, Muir has authored many real estate and motivational articles that have been published in the Journal of Property Management (JPM^®) and was inducted into IREM’s “Academy of Authors” in 2010.
