ELLIOTT ASSOCIATES, INC. Co-Hosts "Tree ID Work Party"

August, 2008 - On Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm, Elliott Associates, Inc., in conjunction with SD Deacon, will host a "Tree ID Work Party" where employee volunteers from both companies will help add new identification signs to the multiple species of native Oregon trees located on the company's East Burnside campus.
The office building, located at 901 NE Glisan, was originally built over 30 years ago for Copeland Lumber, complete with a natural arboretum of over 30 different tree species from all over Oregon, each with its own ID sign.  The original ID signs are wearing out and as part of Elliott Associates, Inc.'s commitment to all things green, volunteers, including a representative from Elliott Associates, Inc.'s Green Team, will replace worn out signs with stainless steel mounted ID signs.  Employee volunteers will be responsible for digging holes, removing dirt, and mixing and placing concrete.  The work begins at 3:00 pm, and will conclude between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm with pizza and drinks to commensurate the special event.
